The lab has tremendous expertise on organelle biology using unique mouse models in addition to primary cell culture. The Lab has established multiple engineered mouse model on autophagy, mitochondria dynamics and lysosome functions to investigate alcohol and diet-induced fatty liver disease and drug-induced liver injury as well as liver cancer. The Ding Lab is a friendly training driven environment and has been very productive. Some of the recent lab publications include:Gastroenterology 2018 (PMC6120772); Journal of Hepatology 2016 (PMC4143992); 2022a (PMC9449865); 2022b (PMC8858859); Hepatology 2023 (PMID: 35698731); Nature Communications 2022 (PMC9240011); Autophagy 2022 (PMC9298442).
